Lone Mountain Ranch Montana

For over a century, Lone Mountain Ranch has been a symbol of the American West. Since the ranch was frst homesteaded in 1915, Lone Mountain has participated in the exploration and preservation of Yellowstone National Park, the formation of the town of Big Sky, and the evolution of ranching and logging in the Northern Rockies.

MEETING FACILITIES

Located in Big Sky, Montana, our historic guest ranch is the perfect setting for your next family reunion, corporate retreat, or annual meeting. The ranch has a variety of private, indoor and outdoor venues, such as our historic Ranch Hall, which can accommodate up to 100 guests.

ACCOMMODATIONS

There are 25 historic log cabins on the property, ranging from 1 to 6 bedrooms. We also offer 5 pairs of adjoining cabins, perfect for families with older kids or group getaways. All of our cabins offer privacy, comfort and top-shelf amenities, beautifully renovated and lovingly restored in 2016.

DINING & RECREATION

Big Sky’s premier farm-to-table fine dining experience is located right on the Ranch at the Horn & Cantle Restaurant. Our Executive Chef oversees all menus, from breakfast and lunch at the restaurant, the saloon and historic sleigh ride dinners. We’re delighted to accommodate all dietary needs with special menus as requested.

Our wranglers will partner you with a well-mannered horse, skillfully matched to your experience level, for a ride among our lodgepole pines and lush meadows.
